January Region 9 Update - Change of RM

On Tuesday 17th, it was announced by Sensei Joe van Strijp that: "GKR has offered me a position in Melbourne; and due to our first child being born in 4 weeks, Nina and I have decided to be closer to our families." The new Region 9 RM is Sensei Andre Langos, who was been the ARM in Region 9 in the later part of 2011. Today, it was announced that Sensei Matthew Sullivan will be taking up the role of ARM as of Monday 23rd January and will the Senior Class Sensei on Thursday nights. Best wishes to all three Sensei on your new appointments.

Region 9 will be holding a "BACK TO SCHOOL SUPER SEMINAR" on Saturday January 28th at St Gabriel's Primary School Hall, 17 Whittington Street, Enfield.

  * Session 1: 9.00-10.00am Hands on Self Defence This class will cover a variety of practical escape techniques to improve your defensive skills and confidence.

  * Session 2: 10.15-11.15am Kata Workshop Refine your current grade kata or start learning your next kata at this session.

  * Session 3 11.30-12.30pm Just for Kicks Take your kicking technique to the next level with this leg focussed workshop.
