Three Weddings and a Baby

The last 6 months has seen significant events occur that have effected the personal lives of several GKR identities in Adelaide in different ways.

On Saturday September 11th 2010, Robin Copini and Sara Roach married in an afternoon ceremony on the MV Dolphin Explorer. Sara and her bridal party were piped on board where the ceremony took on the upper deck before a large group of family and friends. Several Karate friends and their partners were amongst the guests, including Gary Copolla, who's band provided the entertainment during the post wedding cruise.

Popular Region 23 full timers, Mark Ingle and Tabatha Dodds tied the knot in another "water" related ceremony at Glenelg Beach on Saturday March 19th. Once again a group of Karate friends were in attendance, including Jess Curtis in the Bridal Party. Although the day was a bit windy, the sun shone brightly as the ceremony took place on the sands.

Region 9 Manager, Sensei Joe van Strijp married his fiancé Nina in a traditional wedding ceremony at St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in West Melbourne on Saturday 30th April. The Church is a heritage listed building and is around 130 years old. Must have been an experience itself for wedding guests, including Daniel and Tanya Tregenza from Adelaide.

Sebastian and Natasha Nazar welcomed their first child, a girl Olivia Rose, into the world on Monday March 14th. Weighing in at 8 1/2 pounds Olivia looks like she will take after her father in height, but fortunately Tash for her looks.

Congratulations to all couples, your Karate friends wish you well for the future.
