Been a busy time over the past month on the personal side for a
number of GKR students with two Engagements and three Weddings.

and Sara Roach, along with Russell McQuade and Jackie Probert announced their
Engagements in December. January is Wedding Month with
Christine Probert & James
O'Callaghan, Clive Wetton & Heidi Boller and
Tamsin Stanton & long time partner Matthew
Ing tying the knot. Tamsin had an especially hot outside ceremony but celebrated after in a
cool Winery
Cellar setting in the Barossa Valley. Several Karate friends were in attendance to help with
celebrations at each of the weddings. Congratulations to all couples.On January 10 2010 we announced our love for each other in front of family and some close friends. We were lucky that Sferas, Modbury cater for both the ceremony and reception. We only ventured out into the 40 degree heat for a short ride up the road to Pines Park for some family photos. The heat didn't really matter as we where driven there in a 1930's Model T ford and we were greeted at the park with icy cold drinks. Then we returned for the reception for some fine food, a lot of toasting and beverages for all. It was an awesome day that will remain in our hearts for ever. Thanks to all our fellow Karate-ka who attended and helped make this day special for both of us and especially to Dylan and Casey for everything they did and generally just looking awesome on the day.
